This is my representation of dirt, gravel, rocks, etc. in our lives. The first three photos are how there is death all around the living. We are all dying and I believe those particular photos represent that idea with a use of contrast and juxtaposition. The next few are from the construction sight for the new school building being built. I took those photos because it really shows the work that is put into making a whole new building from scratch and that it's more than just putting up walls and a roof. The work actually goes underneath the dirt and that represents how our problems are not always only on the surface of what we show but also deeper than we could ever imagine. The last three photos are of my white shoes being dirtied by the mud from around the school. This shows that no matter how pure and careful you are, if you don't surround yourself with good things, you'll never stay clean.
